(Trigonella Absorbent Pad)
On the basis of selected vegetable raw materials a powder mixture has been developed by us from which a very versatile absorbent pad can be prepared. Fenugreek (Trigonella), a traditional healing plant with a great past, is the main component of this mixture,. Historical sources report on its use as early as the year 1550 B.C. Trigonella is distinguished by an extremely high ability to swell: in this way the absorbent pad can absorb more than 7 times its own weight in liquid. As a result of this property, the absorbent pad can take up superfluous tissue fluid from inflamed skin parts, for example in the case of joint swellings after sport injuries or other traumatic injuries. Further areas of application are: ailments of the inflammable rheumatic form circle, bone skin inflammations and tennis elbow. The pad has also proved its worth in the case of nail fungus, acne and seborrhoeal eczema.
It absorbs fluid which is excreted, dries off areas with discharge and thus accelerates healing of the affected skin areas. A pleasant cooling side-effect is achieved by the preparation method and the addition of ethereal oils. Because exclusively menthol-free oils are used, the trigonella absorbent pad does not have any negative effect on classical homeopathy but it can be used as supplementary therapy.
Dosage and preparation instructions
For a palm-sized pad, stir 3 tablespoons of powder into boiling water to make a dough-like paste. Apply the dough to a linen or cotton cloth, let it cool and lay it directly on the area to be treated. In order tocool the paste more quickly, place it in the fridge. For the absorbent pad to achieve its full effect, it should remain on the skin for at least 30 minutes. It can indeed be applied over a period of several hours, however care should be taken to ensure the skin does not become too soft. If the trigonella absorbent pad is used to treat foot or nail fungus, then the pad should stay overnight on the affected area. In the morning rub off the dried pad carefully and wash the foot/nail with Cystus® Sud. Once it has been made up, the paste should be used once only.
Composition:
Trigonella, oil of green mint. Green mint is free of menthol.
Contra-indications:
Do not lay on open wounds, the eyes or mucous membranes. Do not apply Trigonella Absorbent Pad to the facial area of babies and small children. Do not use in the case of bronchial asthma and whooping cough.
