Full or half bath
• in times of increased susceptibility to infection
• in the case of constantly cold feet
Either put the powder into hot water or let it draw in a small cloth bag in the water. A lightly heaped tablespoon is enough for 5 litres of warm water. The face and eyes should be protected from the mustard fumes by a towel during the full bath.
Nackenauflage (Neck Pad)
• in the case of tautness in the shoulder and neck area
• in the case of stress and tension
• in times when one has a cold e.g. in the case of sinusitis
• in the case of headaches caused by tension
• migraine
The paste is stirred and laid on the area to be treated as described. The pad is covered with a large square cloth (approx. 1 m x 1 m), which has been folded into a triangle. it is then laid over the shoulders in such a way that the larger angle lies on the back, the two sharp angles meet at the throat and cross over at the chest.
Brustauflage (Chest Pad)
• in times when one has a cold, e.g in the case of bronchitis
The paste is laid onto the chest, a large cloth covers the pad from the arm pits dwon to the bottom of the rib cage
Leibauflage (Body Pad)
• in the case of "unwellness"
The paste is laid on the belly area, a large cloth covers the pad from the bottom of the rib cage to the genitals area.
Arm-/Bein Wickel (Arm/Leg Wraps)
• in the case of muscle tension and cramps
• in the case of degenerative rheumatic illnesses
The paste is laid onto the area to be treated. A large cloth is wrapped around the pad.
Back area
• Lumbago
It is sufficient to apply a pad the size of the palm of one’s hand.
