- 300 g wholemeal wheaten flour
- 3–4 tablespoonfuls of water
- 1/4 teaspoonful of sea salt (without added iodine)
- 200 g butter
- 500 g apples
- 100 g dark brown sugar
- 50 g raisins
- 1/2 teaspoonful cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoonful Dreiblatt Kalium Granulat (Trifoliate Potassium Granulate)
- 30 g butter
– a little milk

Prepare short pastry from the flour, sea salt, water and butter and put it in a cold place, slice apples and mix with dark brown sugar, raisins, cinnamon and Dreiblatt Kalium Bio Granulat. Roll out the pastry, cut out a top layer with the diameter of a gratin form. Line the bottom and edges of the gratin form with the remaining pastry. Fill in the apple mixture and spread small flakes of butter on it. Place the top layer of pastry over it, press together at the edges and prick several times with a fork. Place on the grid, positioned on the lower rung and bake for 40–45 min. at 210°C, allow to stand for 5–10 min. in oven after switching off. Serve the warm cake with Cystus® Sirup and vanilla ice-cream.
