Cystus® Tea Specialities
 
As a basic recipe a handful (approx. 10 g) Cystus® Teekraut (Cystus® tea leaves) is used for 1 l water. Pour boiling water onto the tea leaves and allow to draw according to taste.

Cystus® Summer Dream Ice Tea
Pour 300 to 400 ml of boiling water over 2 level tablespoonfuls of Cystus® Teekraut, allow to draw for 3 minutes and strain. Let the tea cool. Then put the tea into a pot filled with ice cubes. Now pour 50 ml sea buckthorn juice and 150 ml black-currant juice into the mixture and add 1 to 2 tablespoonfuls of honey. When serving, garnish with a one sprig of blackurrants and one of balm.

Cystus® East Friesian Style
Pour the hot tea over 1–2 cubes or teaspoonfuls of cane sugar (or honey as an alternative). If you really want it East Frisian style, make sure you do not stir the tea.

Cystus® Refresher
Brew up Cystus® Teekraut together with 2–3 stalks of fresh mint or 2–3 teaspoonfuls of dried mint.

Cystus® Sweet
Brew up Cystus® Teekraut together with lime blossom (fresh or dried) in the ratio 1:1.

Cystus® Fruity
Mix ready-to-drink tea with hot grape or cherry juice.

Cystus® Ice Tea
Put strong, freshly brewed Cystus® Tee immediately into a pot filled with ice cubes and allow to cool. Add the juice of an untreated lemon and honey or cane sugar according to taste.

Tea Shake (for 2 long drink glasses)
Purée 300 ml Cystus® ice tea, 2 scoops of vanilla ice-cream, 2 tablespoonfuls of cream and 1 teaspoonful of bourbon vanilla with a whisk. Fill at once into glasses and garnish with grated chocolate flakes. If you like the shake even sweeter, dissolve 1 teaspoonful of honey in the hot tea.

Sportsman’s Drink (for 2 long drink glasses)
Stir 250 ml of cold Cystus® Tee (which has drawn for 2 min.) into 100 ml of pear juice, 1/2 teaspoonful of honey,1 pinch of full sea salt and 150 ml mineral water and serve at once.

Winter Punch
Sweeten about 600 ml Cystus® Tee with 2 teaspoonfuls of honey. Heat in a saucepan with the juice of 1 lemon and 4 juicy oranges (untreated), 2 cloves, 1 stick of cinnamon, 1 aniseed star and 0.7 l of red grape juice or red wine – do not boil! – and allow to draw for 10 min., then remove spices. Another 4 cl of brown rum can be added if desired. If you like it sweeter, you can use more honey.
