Pancakes with Wild Herbs
 
Recipes with Salicornia Jod Pulver (Salicornia Iodine Powder):

Pancakes with Wild Herbs


- 120 g wholemeal wheat flour
- 200 ml butter milk
- 4 eggs
- salt
- freshly ground white pepper
- 1 pinch nutmeg
- 2 teaspoonful Salicornia Jod Pulver
- 1 cup of mixed, chopped wild herbs
- butter for baking


Put the wholemeal wheat flour into a bowl with the buttermilk and stir to a smooth consistency. Beat in the eggs gradually. Add salt, white pepper and nutmeg to taste. Fold in the washed and finely chopped wild herbs together with the Salicornia Jod Pulver. Warm up some butter in a pan and put the dough – in pancake portions – into the pan. Bake the individual pancakes and remove them from the pan, fill them according to taste, garnish and serve.
