Herbal powder mixture for the preparation of an absorptive poultice for the following symptoms:
In order to make a palm-sized patch, mix 3 tablespoons of the powder with water and stir until it is a doughy and kneadable paste. Let the dough cool down and apply it thick as a finger the areas of skin you want to treat. (In order to intensify the cooling effect, the prepared dough can also be cooled down in the fridge). For the Teuto® Absorption Poultice to reach its full potential it should be left on the skin for at least 30 minutes. It can be left there for several hours, depending on where you apply it to, it should not be left there for more than 8 hours a day because afterwards the absorbed fluid might be returned.
In the case of acromycosis (fungal infection) you should leave the poultice on the affected area of skin over night and only remove it the next morning. The application should be repeated over the following nights (for about 2 weeks). Make sure that you remove the paste completely after the treatment with a wet cloth. It can be disposed of as bio waste.
Qualities
Like a natural sponge, only more intensely, Teuto® Absorption Poultice absorbs excess lymph fluid from infected areas of skin. It dries weeping skin lesions and as a result speeds up the healing process. Moreover, due to its particular way of preparation it has a pleasant cooling effect.
Contraindication
Do not apply to open wounds, eyes or mucous membranes. In the case of eye contact rinse immediately with clear water. Do not use Teuto® Absorption Poultice in the faces of infants and toddlers. Do not use if you have bronchial asthma or whooping cough.
Side effects
When used according to instructions, no undesirable side effects should occur.
