4 Iron Organic Vegan Capsules contain 2.6 mg iron (equivalent to 19% of the nutrient reference values according to the Food Information Regulation), which the body can utilize and tolerate particularly well in plant-bound form. Organic fruit acids, in particular ascorbic acid (vitamin C) from sea buckthorn berries, promote the absorption of plant-bound iron.
The Iron Bio vegan capsules are the vegan counterpart to our well-known Wild Garlic Iron N capsules. The inner values have not changed. We continue to rely on our special iron-rich wild garlic provenance and combine it with sea buckthorn berries.
This has two advantages: The sea buckthorn berries contain a lot of vitamin C in a natural plant matrix, which improves the absorption of the iron. In addition, the sea buckthorn berries serve as natural protection against oxidation of the wild garlic leaves.
In the course of development, we looked for ways to protect the wild garlic from spoilage and oxidation over the long term. The answer lay in nature. We were able to show that adding a natural redox system in the form of sea buckthorn berries, rosehip peel or hawthorn optimally protects the wild garlic leaves.
